Districts have diverse hiring policies, follow procedures as outlined.

Suggested completion timeframe: middle of student teaching through summer

Actively apply for positions when you become aware of vacancies from EPCS or another source. Spring to mid-summer is the peak hiring time for teaching positions. See Applying to Districts for help on how to apply using the credential.

Complete the WECAN application & request your UW-Madison credential be uploaded to WECAN through your EPCS Job Search menu.

Return license application to EAS, with fee for processing prior to graduation.
