K-12 Job Search Account: Credential Services

This is a powerful, time-saving service for candidates, letter writers, and school districts. As a part of the Job Search Account, set up a professional credential file with EPCS and then leave the packaging and mailing to us. School districts can verify authenticity and have confidence in materials sent from UW-Madison.

The professional credential is a statement from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Education that we support your candidacy for a position.

The UW-Madison credential contains :

  • Resume (1 or 2 pages, maximum two pages)
  • Transcripts
  • License or professional education certificate
  • Authentic References
"Authentic references" means that letters come directly from the writer to EPCS and become the property of UW-Madison.

Distribution:
EPCS maintains credentials in electronic and paper form. They are generally delivered to employers by U.S. mail, or an employer may request to view a candidate's electronic credential over the World Wide Web.

The processing fee includes sending 20 copies of your credential to employers. EPCS will then copy, package, and mail your professional credential within 1-3 business days or send your credential via electronic transfer according to the school district’s instructions.
