INFO SESSION:  Madison Metropolitan School District Hiring Process, Ed. Sciences Rm 253

Beth Weber, Human Resources Specialist from MMSD will review the application process and talk about the early screening they will be undergoing this year.  She will also answer your questions in this informal group meeting.

Brown Bag Session: JOB SEARCH 101 – Get Started on Your Search
This workshop will provide you with an overview of the process including a timeline which will identify first steps to take and how to prepare for future steps. In the last half hour of the workshop, we’ll discuss filling out a WI license application and how to create a WECAN account and Career Account.   Please feel free to bring your lunch with you!

SUPPORT SESSIONS:  LOCATING AND APPLYING FOR POSITIONS
In these unique sessions, you’ll be on the computer, searching, gathering info, and/or applying to districts you are interested in and we’ll be here to help - you will leave the session having made progress in your individual search!  And to ensure that you’ll work alongside others in a similar situation, we’re offering two types of support sessions, one for those searching in Wisconsin and one for those searching outside of it!

Sign up for one of these evenings and we’ll provide you with a 15 minute segment to check-in with one of us regarding your resume.  Ask questions, share wording you are working on, etc.  Great opportunity as you begin filling out applications and prepare for the fair!

This semester, will we continue to be open Wednesday evenings from 4:30 – 6:30 for job search and portfolio help.  Bring your resume for review, get help on an application, ask questions…

MOCK INTERVIEW
Schedule a half-hour practice interview with an EPCS consultant.  This is a great opportunity for you to try out your interviewing skills and receive constructive feedback.
