Setting Up a Portfolio Account:

You can log in if...
  • You already have an account with EPCS.
  • You are a School of Education student, faculty, or staff.
  • You have been set up to use the Portfolio Project.
  • Please contact EPCS to set up an account

Setting Up Your Account:

Use these instructions if you have been admitted to the UW-Madison School of Education and need to set up an on-line account in order to complete the Technology Assessment and for future access to the on-line portfolio system.

As soon as you have set up your account, your listing of on-line services will include the Technology Assessment. Complete and submit this assessment as soon as possible.

READ CAREFULLY:

PLEASE READ THE DIRECTIONS BELOW AND/OR FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS SENT WITH YOUR ACCEPTANCE LETTER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO LOG IN TO THE SYSTEM.

At the BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE, you will be directed to the EPCS On-Line Login System to get started. You must set up an EPCS On-Line account before you can complete the technology survey.

Setting Up An EPCS On-Line Account

  1. At the EPCS On-Line login page, enter your 10-digit campus ID number, and select the SUBMIT button.
  2. The next screen will notify you that you do not have an EPCS On-Line account and ask if you are a new user. Select the NEW USER button.
  3. This screen walks you through the process of setting up your EPCS On-line account. The Campus ID will already be filled in. Enter the temporary password, 3030. Select the SUBMIT button.
  4. The next screen notifies you of the on-line services available to you and asks you to fill in the necessary information. Your campus ID and name will already be listed. Enter your email address and your new password. Your password should be at MINIMUM FIVE AND MAXIMUM TEN characters including numbers and/or letters. Select the Submit Information button.
  5. The next screen lists your EPCS On-Line Login information and notifies you that your account has been set up successfully. Verify that all the information is correct. Select the Log In Now button.
  6. This takes you back to the EPCS On-Line Services Login. Enter your campus ID and then the new password and select the SUBMIT button.
  7. If you have not filled out an Information Card, the system will only highlight this menu option. Select Info Card and complete the contact information as requested.
  8. Your EPCS On-Line Services menu options will then list the Technology Assessment. Click on the Technology Assessment and complete the survey. After completing the survey, your full list of menu options will appear. This will include reference letter review and the portfolio project.
