Portfolio Project Access

Use these instructions if you are a current School of Education student getting set up to work on a teaching and learning portfolio for class purposes.

First Time Users
To access the Portfolio Project and EPCS On-line Services:

  1. Go to http://portfolios.education.wisc.edu
  2. Click on the Login button
    The next screen welcomes you to the On-line Login System. Enter your ID number. For UW-Madison students this is your 10-digit campus ID number
  3. Select the SUBMIT button.
    This screen will notify you that you do not have an account and asks if you are a new user.
  4. Select the NEW USER button.
    If you have an active account and get this message in error, click on the back button and re-enter your ID number.
    This screen will walk you through the process of setting up your On-Line account. The campus ID will already be filled in.
  5. Enter the temporary password.Please contact EPCS for this pasword at (608) 262-1755 or request the password via email from EPCS.
  6. Select the SUBMIT button.
    The next screen will notify you of the on-line services available to you and ask you to fill in the necessary information. Your ID will be already listed as well as your name.
  7. Enter your email address and your new password.
    Your password should be at MINIMUM FIVE and MAXIMUM TEN characters including numbers or letters.
  8. Select the SUBMIT INFORMATION button.
    The next screen lists your Login information and notifies you that your account has been set up successfully. Verify that all the information is correct.
  9. Select the LOG IN NOW button.
    This will take you back to the On-Line Services Login.
  10. Enter your ID and then the new password
  11. Select the SUBMIT button.
    If you have not filled out an Information Card, the system will ask you to do so. Complete the contact information as requested.
    Your On-Line Services menu options will appear. These will include reference letter review and the portfolio project.
  12. Click on Portfolio Project to access the system.
