Job fairs can be an excellent opportunity to learn about school districts and their needs, sharpen your job-search and interviewing skills, and locate a teaching position for the upcoming school year.

Most fairs require you to register in advance, so be sure to call for more information using the contact names, telephone numbers or links provided to a job fair's home page.

Remember to always arrive at job fairs prepared. You will need to:

• Dress professionally the entire time.
• Bring multiple copies (10+) of your current resume.
• Be ready to schedule and participate in interviews.
