Additional Information on International Job Fairs:

Job fairs with an emphasis on placing teachers in international positions are somewhat different than domestic or regional job fairs. International job fairs are organized by recruiters from various universities and businesses. In addition, the registration process is more complicated and expensive to ensure that the candidates attending the fair are qualified and ready for the experience of teaching abroad.

Often applicants are required to possess two years of K-12 experience and have a professional file registered with the agency running the fair to attend. Please use the links below to contact the different agencies or universities about their international placement services. It is highly recommended that you consult with your college placement office for assistance in establishing an additional professional file and determining the reliability and quality of the international placement agencies.

See EPCS Newsletter article on Teaching Abroad.

Some job fairs within Wisconsin and the surrounding region will have representatives from the Peace Corps and the Department of Defense Schools in attendance offering overseas teaching positions.
