Open to professional educators, graduate students, student
teachers, and individuals in education-related fields who desire local
chapter affiliation.

Membership is based upon chapter approval and an initiation
ceremony that includes a one-time initiation fee beyond the annual fee.

Includes all member services and programs, voting privileges,
and the right to hold PDK volunteer leadership positions.

Membership may be transferred from one chapter to another
at any time upon request.

To apply, print and complete the chapter affiliated
application and mail it to a local chapter representative. To find the

Student membership is available to individuals enrolled
in a program leading to teacher certification.

It is a one-year and half-dues membership without initiation
into Phi Delta Kappa. It has limited member services and programs and
cannot be transferred from one chapter to another.

Each chapter has the option to extend student (half-dues)
or regular (full dues) membership to individuals enrolled in a fifth-year
program.

Student membership is offered by selected chapters only
(see chapter list). To apply, print and complete the student application

Students who are unable to access membership in a local
chapter may submit an application to Phi Delta Kappa International for
placement in the Indiana University chapter in Bloomington, Indiana.
