TEACHER INFORMATION FOR PROJECT CONNECT

Thank you for your interest in Project Connect.

Access to Project Connect is free of charge to teachers, school districts, and colleges.
You do need a username and password to search for a position in K-12 Education.
We ask that teachers contact their college or school district (if currently employed) for the username and password.

The reason for this is that Project Connect itself does not have the resources to register teachers. Instead, we rely on career offices at universities or school districts to get their teachers connected.

The goal for Project Connect is that career offices, school districts and teachers will be connected over the Internet and will all help get the right teacher into the right classroom using the Internet. Currently over 300 leading universities are connected.

If your college or school district is not currently participating, please ask them to register at the Project Connect Web Site at http://careers.soemadison.wisc.edu/projcon.htm. They will then be able to provide you with the access information you need.

College and school district registration and particpation is FREE and EASY, but we need them to participate to keep it free and to make the site useful for your job search.

We need your help with this because often colleges and schools do not know about Project Connect. By contacting them, you can get yourself on line and help get them involved.
