Student Wisconsin Education Association (StWEA) is a pre-professional association pursuing careers as educators. Student WEA provides opportunities to meet other education majors and current teachers, to explore cutting edge issues in education, and interact with the community.
What We Do:
Outreach to Teach - Student WEA members from all accross the state come together for a weekend to do an "extreme home makover" for a school in need!
Representative Assembly - If you're elected as a representative, enjoy a night at a hotel discussing the rules and running elections for statewide Student WEA.
Volunteer - We've volunteered at Halloween at the Zoo, The Ronald Mcdonald House, and More!
Dying to Teach - Tie Dye Tshirts with campus at All Campus Party!
Professional Development - Attend the fall professional development seminar and meet real professionals in the field and participating in seminars and viewing talks! Or just stop by our meetings and listen to what our speakers have to say.
